Hi I'm Lewis and I'm a nature conservation professional of 10 years specialising in land management, landscapes and wetland ecology. Lamott grew out of my own observations that we need a system to track all the key information for sites going into nature finance schemes. My thinking started with Biodiversity Net Gain's Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan information and developed also considering the need to demonstrate action towards the objective for Countryside Stewardship options. The creation of LAMOTT is a way to to track of a range of obligations, milestones, measures, risk, activity, and monitoring is to ensure there is a robust record for delivery against the commitments made for any nature finance schemes. I have built Lamott in my own time and it is a project of my freelance consultancy Spring Biodiversity.
